The main difference between lovers and siblings - lovers grow apart and part their ways, siblings are two different trees growing from the same root; they might spread into different directions but never, NEVER can they turn away from each other for good. If that should happen, the word "sisterhood" was probably an exaggerated term to begin with.
It's awful when people feel alone and not understood. And far worse is when someone you thought to have understood you kind of loses the same wavelenght. ( The pessimistic bastard as I am, I've already lost the hopes of finding a person like that in the whole universe. )
