Windmills

Far from the worn path of reason,
Further away from the sane,
He battles his shadows and demons

It's full moon tonight (which may or may not be the reason why I bought ridiculous amounts of chocolate today) and I've always associated this song with him, so...

So... Goodbye Moony, the last Marauder to fall.
You'll be sorely missed. *gives a mournful little howl*


(Except he didn't die, and neither did she. Oh no. They survived the battle to raise little Teddy as the coolest parents ever in existence and to live happily ever after. *nods vigorously*  In the original script anyway. *sigh* But hey, it could be canon, so...

Well, Teddy still DOES have Harry as a godfather, doesn't he? *a very desperately faked "everything's-gonna-be-alright" -smile*

No, seriously, that's just not right. A cost far too high for peace. But then again, isn't it always too expensive in some way...
